Whoa, check out all this cash! This, ladies and gents, is over $2,000 which is about 6,000 Peruvian Soles, and I have to say, I felt like a total balla holding it. Today I was finally able to hand over a portion of your donations to the school in Peru (the rest to be donated in Bolivia), which, like I said before, is paying for school fees for a year, books and educational materials and a water tank! I’m very excited about the water tank. I am meeting with the locals who will be helping put it in on Saturday and hopefully next week we can get it up (literally, tanks here go on the roof) and rolling! I’m just as excited to work with locals on this project as I am for the kids who finally get water. It will be fun meeting and working with their parents to better their community.
Like always, I will keep you posted on the progress of your projects in Peru : )
